A Famous story of “Hare and Tortoise” saying is “Slow and Steady Win the Race, however, I would like to rephrase the Line with “Slowly, Steadily, Gain Knowledge”.
In today’s generation, Life is so fast, that we don’t realize the matter of relevancy and still we run towards achieving the Goal.
However, I would suggest going ahead on even on the last day of exam preparation.
How to achieve it, here is the answer:
- Understanding: Many of us are either good in theory or in numeric. Few People are both. Irrespective of any subject, whether it is theory or numeric or a rocket science, understanding the subject is important and the purpose behind it. If we are good in Numeric, just follow the basics of theory like Short Definitions and basic 2 Liner purpose of each chapter. If you are good in theory, remember any chapter cannot end with only Numeric. Here, the trick you can use is to learn the way, not the calculation, means just learn the steps and avoid spending time on calculation part.
- Learn by Heart: Yes, this philosophy is old but True. If you learn anything by heart, for sure you will remember it all your life, however here it really does not indicate the exact words but the meaning behind it. Hence, would recommend, whichever a subject you like, Learn from Heart and rest you can learn From Brain.
- Divide and Rule: Why not to learn with the real scenario. Divide chapters in 2 part and learn. E.g.: 07 chapters, divide them in A, B, and C, such as easy chapters in A, numeric chapters in B and difficult chapter in C. Once you divided, you can rule it. Learn the one which is easy and then jump for hard chapters.
- Point It Out: Yes Point it out words, which you do not understand. Also, don’t forget to highlight those words which are important. It really doesn’t mean to scratch your book with pen, it means to just underline those words, which can give you a helping hand at the time of revision, just before the exam.
Hope, with the use of such tricks, you can improve the Way of Learning. Stay tuned for more tips & tricks and especially for Learning from Root of Education.
